OASH -Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment

The Office Against Sexual Harassment (OASH) is established to prevent incidences of sexual harassment in the campus. ). It is the university’s compliance to RA 7877 known as the Anti-Harassment Act of 1995. 

Sexual harassment is not confined to physical harassment. It is any unwelcome sexual advancement which may be delivered not only physically but also verbally. Therefore, suggestive conversations that are unwelcome and offensive to the victim may be considered sexual harassment.

UPLB constituents who have experienced sexual harassment are encouraged to report the incident to the Gender Center. The offense may require the aggressor to be dismissed or suspended, or he/she may be required to simply write an apology letter, depending on the request of the victim.
