The Gender for Rural Development Office (GRDO) promotes mainstreaming of gender perspective in instruction, research, and extension, and advocacy services of the Gender Center. This is to ensure gender equity in the campus as response to the Magna Carta of Women (RA 9710).
In mainstreaming gender, the GRDO engages in research and development efforts for gender, and later shares this with communities through Information and Education Communication (IEC) projects such as talks, seminars, and workshops.
